Do you charge for parents?
We do not charge for parents to be a spectator. We’re happy you are here! But, everyone else does pay whether they skate or not!
If my friends are coming to skate, do I need to pay if I’m not skating?
Everyone entering (with the exception of parents watching their children) must pay.
Do you sell food?
Yes! Skateland West offers Slushies, Pizza, Oscar Mayer ALL BEEF Hot Dogs, Pretzels, & Ricos Nachos. We also offer Pepsi products.
Can I bring in food from the outside?
We do not allow outside food or drink. The only outside food/drinks we allow during our open skating session is a birthday cake and you MUST have a birthday party reservation.
Do you have a dress code?
Yes, we do! Appearances must be neat and clean. No suggestive or vulgar language on clothes. Bare clothing isn’t allowed. No tank tops, under shirts, cut off shirts. Shirts must be fully closed, no open backs or bare stomachs. No hats may be worn in the building. We solicit the patronage of those who wish to comply and they will be strictly enforced.
Can we chew gum or smoke?
NO! We do not allow gum chewing OR smoking of any kind!
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, at the front office.
Do you take requests for songs?
Yes, we have a music library with over 7,000 songs but, requests must be made on our social media either Instagram or Facebook. Our Floor Host will make every effort to get your favorite song on!
Can I rent Skateland West privately?
Yes! We offer Exclusive Events on select days of the week. Checkout our parties page for more information.
How far in advance do I need to make party reservations?
As a rule of thumb, Open Events should be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance and Exclusive Events usually require at least 30 days to as much as 6 months depending on availability.
What forms of payments do you allow?
Can I pay with a check?
We do not accept personal checks.
What size skates do you rent?
Regular Skates: Juvenile size 7 to adult size 15.
Can I bring my own skates?
Yes. We allow all kinds of regular roller skates and inline skates. Your own skates must be safe and clean.
Can I wear my Heelys?
We do not allow heely type skates, Hover boards, or skateboards and other non- approved equipment.
Do you sell skates?
If my child doesn’t skate well, can I walk on the floor to assist him/her?
During open skate times, we do not allow parents to enter the skating floor with shoes on to help their children skate.
Where can I get skating lessons for myself or my child?
Right here at Skateland West. Every Saturday from 12:00-1:00pm!
